2012 REPORT DAY

This year each church will be logging into a new site, EZRA for the year-end reports. It will be necessary to use your GCFA Number and first time password ( txcumc1). The first time each church logs onto the system, it will be necessary to set up an account which makes it necessary to designate one person to be responsible for entering data into the reports. The report is divided into three tables making it simpler to provide each person with their report information. For instance, the person in charge of finances will have their report and the ones in charge of membership will have their reports.  Each person will fill in the data and return to the designated data entry person. Once data is entered, click the submit button and it will be sent to the District and Conference offices. After having the Senior Pastor and Finance Chair or Treasurer sign on page 189, send via mail, fax or in person to the District office. Fax Number is 281-895-7705. At this point if changes are need, it will be necessary to contact the District Office.

There are a few changes this year. It will be necessary to enter professing members on line 2, worship attendance on line 25 and hands of mission on line 188. This year the report will not add up the groups therefore each area will need to be added and the correct figure placed on the appropriate line. 

The report must be signed on line 189 by the Senior Pastor and Finance chair or Treasurer.

EZRA  can be found by logging into TXCUMC.ORG, click on  “Resources” and then EZRA.  

If monies are being submitted the report must be submitted in person to the District Office. Please remember to check the attendance, operating expenses and pastor’s compensation as these items will affect the apportionments.
