Growing To Reach More For Christ

MISSION HOME

Methodist Mission Home offers hope to individuals facing spiritually, emotionally and physically challenging circumstances, so they may lead enriched, rewarding and satisfying lives.

Through professional guidance and compassionate support, teens and young women facing unplanned pregnancy and families considering adoption make mutually beneficial decisions.

Through transitional education including life skills and vocational training, young adults with disabilities and those who are deaf develop confidence and competence to reach their personal level of independent living.

VISION STATEMENT

MMH will be the recognized leader in adoption and services for people with disabilities fulfilling the needs of people we serve.

  • Building families and giving every child a safe and loving home
  • Educating every child, youth and adult about adoption as a loving alternative
  • Eliminating barriers for people with disabilities to achieve their personal best

CORE VALUES

We value abundant life for the people we serve through our commitment and dedication to...

  • Sincere and loving care
  • We believe that love is the underlying principle for success, and that one must continually make deposits into the emotional bank account of others in order to strengthen relationships.
  • Meeting their needs and exceeding their expectations
We know we can provide solutions only to those problems we understand; therefore, we listen!
  • Respecting their diverse individual needs
MMH fosters an environment where diversity is valued, quality of life is enhanced, and individual aspirations are fulfilled. We embrace diversity as an essential component in the way we do business.
  • Finding creative solutions and remaining flexible to the changing needs of our communities
Building and maintaining long-term partnerships with our communities to understand the changing needs and provide an exceptional level of service delivered with passion, integrity, innovation and consistency.
  • Responsible stewardship of the people and resources entrusted to our care
"The earth is the Lord's and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it" (Psalm 24:1). Each of us as individuals and all of us together, accept the challenge to take good care of each other, our community, our gifts, and our environment. Making the best possible use of our resources is everyone's responsibility.
  • Providing opportunities for spiritual development
We believe the development of the spiritual dimension of life is as important as the physical, mental and emotional dimensions.
  • Ongoing development of our team to enhance our knowledge and expertise
We encourage continuing education for our team. We believe employee development will ensure our long term success.
  • Upholding the highest standard of honesty and integrity
By applying the principles of trust, honesty, respect, integrity and commitment, we nurture and maximize talent to the benefit of each individual as well as the organization.
